Wacoal America has announced Mitch Kauffman will take over from Bob Vitale as new CEO when Vitale steps down for retirement in Mach 2020. Announced yesterday the American subsidiary of Japanese lingerie manufacturer, Wacoal Holdings Corporation, Bob Vitale steps down as president with immediate effect but will continue in the role of CEO until next year.
His successor is currently the brand’s Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and in a statement commented: “I am proud to be part of [Wacoal’s) heritage … and will strive to sustain and enhance our position as the lingerie company that women trust for fit, quality, comfort and service”. Looking ahead he added: “we see great opportunity in our international business in Canada and Central & South America, The future of the brand remains bright.”
