The Very Pink Run is a major annual family-friendly fundraising event organised by Breast Cancer Ireland to raise money for critical research and awareness. It attracts a pink tribe of men, women and children, all showing their support in offering a 10km and 5km distance for people to run, jog, walk or wheel.
Held traditionally earlier than the Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the UK in October, there are 3 regional runs (Dublin on 29th August, Kilkenny on 30th August and Cork on 6th September). Underlines caught up with W H Goods, leading Kilkenny department store who organised a Very Pink Run Team and promotion with Anita Active Lingerie.
