For AW15, ASCENO Creative Directors Poppy Sexton-Wainwright and Lauren Skerritt took inspiration from trips to Northern Africa. The palette references the sophistication of majestic Moroccan landscapes, combining coastal shades of nude, powder blue, navy and teal with mystical sunset hues like cerise, tibetan red and deep purple.
Divided in loungewear and beachwear, the styles celebrate the jet-set glamour of the 1970s and encapsulates elements of the North African culture such as Aztec and Bedouin jewellery patterns, geometric diamond and graphic checkerboard prints as well as Moroccan textile references in textured silks.
