For AW2024 mey presents a fashionable capsule collection entitled Powerful Nature, bringing together leisurewear, loungewear and yoga segments. The trendy garments slot into existing NOS collections launched a year ago and the ranges are centred on not just well-being for the wearer but also preservation of natural resources.
Casual outfits reflect sports outerwear elements such as oversized sweatshirts worn with leggings,. Innovative cuts give the soft fabrics volume without detracting from their lightness. Figure-hugging, printed crop tops and leggings made from recycled polyamide or polyester are too good for just exercise! and FSC-certified viscose and GOTS-certified organic cotton mean incredible comfort against the skin.
The colour palette is comprised of earthy berry shades and mossy green for the autumn season and reflective of the natural world. Golden Moss and Lollipop Red appear on plain styles made from the new double-faced fabrics in the Cozy series. Lightweight terry inside for that cosy feeling next to the skin and recycled polyamide giving the exterior a distinctive lustre.
In the Flexible series the key print appears on a pair of 3/4 length leggings and a padded crop top and later in season followed by ankle-cut leggings. The abstract all-over leaf print combines the season’s colour as moss and red are joined by Kumkum red (blackberry shade), Marsala red (raspberry) and Green Valley (spruce green). The trademark colour of wintergold is there in highlights in all-over print, logo details and woven logo waistbands.
These colour combinations also appear in the close-fitting colour-block styles for the Stretchable line. Marsala Red and Green Valley shades appear again in the Breathable and Smooth series with yoga top with cut-out back and a wonderfully versatbile wraparound top with casual jogging pants.
