Elle Macpherson Intimates journeys to India this Autumn/Winter and delivers a tantalising and feminine collection, peppered with sun-drenched hues and intense jewel inspired tones.
As Elle Macpherson elaborates, “This season’s collection is inspired by a recent trip to South India. It reflects the sun-drenched colours and rich cultural beauty of India. Intense berry, jewel and spice tones with metallic finishes hint at the opulence of Indian wedding ceremonies and Maharajas. Gilded laces sit alongside soft chiffons and silks with intricate prints in watercolours and graphic illustrations.”
The introduction of Lurex within key styles, such as the Moroccan Rose and Cloud Swing, injects the collection with texture and opulence while referencing metallic trends. Lace, pleated tulle and ruffle details feature prominently throughout the collection, creating a flirtatious and playful mood while the scalloped edging of the Wind Chime and For You bikinis and thongs add a decidedly feminine touch.
Signature design elements including contrast bows and piping appear in surprising colours offering a fresh perspective to favourite styles including Dentelle and French Flavour. The Autumn/Winter collection will be available at selected department stores and boutiques from July, priced £15 – £120.
