Introducing the Opaak AW21/SS22 collection, blending supple and caressing bodywear designs that slip easily into daytime looks without foregoing their seductive elegance. “We learned a new view towards the inner with appreciation to what we have. Longing for a natural touch, a soft comforting hug and the idea to approach life with ease became the feeling that today is the source of inspiration for AW 21 and SS 22,” said Agathe D. With Ease, a desire to surprise and seduce was manifested in the brand’s choice of fabrics, focusing on a heightened sensory appeal and bridging the divide between comfort and beauty. The creative team carefully sourced an Italian luxurious fine micro modal rip made from beech wood from sustainably managed forests in Austria. To contrast with the casual touch of the modal rip, Opaak added a dash of craftsmanship and seduction with the combination of organically shaped deadstock lace sourced from Germany.
Longing for calmness and natural connection, the Essence Line was inspired by traces of sand, with silhouettes playing between opaque and transparent. Essence Line is a basic inspired core range representing a feminine powdery nuance in Bleached Sand and Volcano Black, offering a carefully curated product range for a wider spectrum of body shapes with wireless spacer and wireless long-line bras up to cup size F.
The lightweight lingerie collection is manufactured from an Italian eco-friendly powermesh derived from regenerated post-industrial raw material. Each style is embellished with a linear elastic band for a characteristic graphic finish, for a luxurious, calm and sophisticated range made for every day.
Inspired by sketching outlines on the body, Sheer Outline is available on Opaak’s colours Alarming Red, Pitch Black and Sensitive Beige. Derived from the love for graphic design, art and printed magazines, the base tone of this collection may be called “The Bauhaus of lingerie” – clean, bold and with a fascination for minimalism.
Sheer Outline is manufactured from a soft micro jersey made from regenerated ECONYL® yarn produced in Italy, a technology based on creating new fibre from ocean plastic waste. The colour blocks are emphasized by a sheer recycled powermesh, providing a medium shapewear effect for a soft enveloping feel.
Perforation Couture is Opaak’s signature collection and represents the idea of crafting contemporary bodywear through structure. As in every range, the combination of fabric technology and athleisure flows together in each puristic style, with designs based on the feeling of moving freely while celebrating the beauty of the body every day.
Perforation Couture’s main material is a bonded perforated micro jersey, which enhances the design with a strong and powerful feel. Easily compared to neoprene, it is durable and has a gentle shapewear effect suited for supportive bodywear and big cup sizes. Perforation couture is combined with Opaak’s standard recycled powermesh which provides a medium shapewear effect for a soft and enveloping feel.
Last but not least, the Graphic Lace Collection is the softest and most ornamental of all Opaak ranges. Sophisticated and comfortable with a subtle athleisure feeling, the range offers elegant looks in a nonchalant way. The Eileen body is designed to be seen with adaptations to a tucked-in tank top – perfectly suited for outerwear.
The range is made from a delicate recycled non-floral eco-lace produced from post-industrial waste. Opaak’s certified Italian supplier operates with low water use and runs the production facility with solar energy to reduce CO2 emissions, and as in all Opaak collections, the brief and body gussets are carefully sourced from GOTS certified organic cotton.
