In an unprecedented context of a global health crisis, the three professional federations representing the clothing, lingerie and swimwear sectors as well as the organisers of the Parisian trade shows, are collectively announcing the decision to cancel or postpone shows scheduled to take place in June 2020. Splash Paris and Unique by Mode City were cancelled, while Interfilière Paris, Riviera and Who’s Next will return in early September.
“We have always been determined to guarantee our teams, our exhibitors, and our visitors optimal working conditions, safety and quality of service. However, in the absence of visibility on a date and conditions at the end of the crisis and given the unlikelihood for many brands to design and produce their collections, we have decided to cancel or postpone the shows. We are convinced that the recovery can only be ensured thanks to the engagement of all the players in our sector, and are already thinking about new events in September that will allow Paris to retain its place as the world’s fashion capital.”
