The CALIDA Autumn/Winter 2020 collection is all about a return to core values like quality, sustainability and comfort. With a company history spanning almost 80 years, CALIDA combines the old and the new, traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. The daywear, sleepwear and loungewear styles combine natural, sustainable, high-quality materials with innovative design and functional properties, with an increasing number of styles awarded the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® certification.
As a key theme, CALIDA is returning to the Cradle to Cradle® capsule 100% NATURE and expanding it with new styles such as print pyjamas and an innovative seamless mid-waist slip. The three-layer, breathable spacer lounge fabric with sustainable HeiQ Fresh introduced in SS20 is also being continued and appearing in a new design. Overall, activewear and sportswear influences dominate, giving the collection a sporty feel, with yellow shades and softer tones like mauve and eucalyptus enhanced by autumnal browns.
