The Mey SS20 collection plays with influences from various cultures from India to Scandinavia, where you dive into a world full of different aspects and colours. This lush diversity is reflected in the collection through Paisley patterns in the colours of the Orient, ornamentation, large designs and feminine embroidery. Snake and leopard prints are also used generously, albeit in an abstracted form, and colours range from warm, sophisticated tones and burnt nuances like powder orange through vibrant blues to fresh, bright pastels.
Decorative lace, transparent tulle and elaborate embroidery are absolutely on-trend for this season’s lingerie. Light pastel shades such as delicate lavender, fresh green and soft mother of pearl are combined with transparent ornamental lace. A key part of this series is the non-wired triangular form, also available in larger sizes up to E cup. Familiar shapes are given a fashionable update with new colours and prints, like the spacer bra now available with snake pattern in pistachio. The Easy Cotton series introduced last year boasts perfect comfort and comes in cream tan melange as a new addition to the NOS range.
