Following the success of their Asian bridal collections, Pure Chemistry present their SS19 collection, Kismet. The very definition of ‘kismet’ is destiny, or fate, which was the inspiration behind this extravagant lingerie range characterised by the fusion of cultural influences, from Indian colour and design to the finest Italian tulle and gilded French leavers lace. ‘Rani pink’ is an alternative colour to red in Asian bridal wear and here it has been accented with opulent gold for a luxury touch, and Swarovski crystals also adorn the lingerie while matching saris complement in sheer georgette.
Pure Chemistry were the first to launch a collection aimed specifically for the Asian bride, back in 2017. Kismet’s preceding collection, Pure Rani, in red and gold proved to be very popular with Asian brides, filling a gap in the market where reservations have long delayed a collection of this kind. The response from the Asian press and market has been overwhelming so designer Dimple Rani decided to satisfy the demand by creating Kismet.
Continuing to push boundaries, this season more playful styles have been added, with bralettes, blindfolds and minimal strapping for a fresh yet chic take on modern bridal lingerie. Not just for brides, these captivating collections have gained fans from all walks of life, for all occasions.
