Australian brand Cake Lingerie expands Sugar Candy – launched only last year, the Sugar Candy debut bra has grown to become a staple, ongoing offering in fuller bust bras stores around the world.
The brand’s designer, Katie Brooker is adding a trendier offering to the collection in July 2018, with a more elegant, lace version of the bra to be added toward the end of 2018. Katie said: “The Sugar Candy Bra was initially designed to provide fuller bust women with a comfort bra option to wear around the home and on the weekends. Consumers and retailers are now calling for an expansion to the offering to cater for the younger, fuller bust woman, who also desire the luxury of seamless, non-wire bras that provide structure and shape.”
Stocked in high profile retailers such as Bravissimo in the UK, Sugar Candy has created a niche in the market for wireless, seamless, stretchy yet supportive bras (sized XS – XXL). Sugar Candy is now its own stand-alone brand from Cake. With its own website & supporting B2B portal, Sugar Candy is rapidly expanding and is distinctive from Cake (who only design maternity and nursing bras).
