Interfilière Paris will celebrate creativity and technical innovations at the upcoming show on 21-23 January. The trade event will also look into the value of lingerie, the idea of dreamy lightness and beauty which makes lingerie different from all other fashion apparel, and showcase the Spring/Summer 2018 trends in an exceptional General Forum.
Four themes stand out: Floral Garden, Erotic Garden, Garden of the Mind and Techno Garden.
The General Forum will also host specialist events, including a presentation by Trent University graduate Jessica Haughton, who combined a lightweight knit with transparent silicone to create 3D-printed lingerie pieces for her show at Graduate Fashion Week in London; a selection of futuristic lingerie embroideries created by invited exhibitors; and the première book launch for “Paris Undressed: The Secrets of French Lingerie” by Kathryn Kemp-Griffin. US cellulosic yarn manufacturer Eastman will also introduce its new brand to the intimate apparel market with a show-piece knit unveiled at the General Forum vernissage on Saturday at 5pm.
