Derbyshire based company Courtaulds is celebrating a major celebrity endorsement following Beyoncé’s appearance at the Budweiser Made in America Festival, where the superstar wore a pair of bejewelled fishnet stockings from the Alice+Olivia by Pretty Polly range. The accomplishment comes as a result of a preview party organised by UKTI East Midlands and held at the British Consulate General in New York last month, which attracted a host of key buyers and journalists as well as Beyoncé’s stylist Ty Hunter.
Courtaulds Sales Director Eugene Culhane explained: “Ty was looking for a particular type of fishnet stocking with jewels and our Alice and Olivia range was the perfect product – three days later, she was wearing them in front of thousands of festival goers. Seeing Beyoncé wear our products generates lots of interest in the fashion industry and allows us to puff our chest out and be proud of our achievements as a great Derbyshire company.”
