Ahead of the 20th MoonWalk London taking place on Saturday 13 May, lingerie company HanesBrands are donating £10,000 to breast cancer charity Walk the Walk. The charity, which specialises in fitness and power walking challenges, started from a desk within the HanesBrands (then Playtex) offices and went on to raise £115 million through The MoonWalk London and other events.
Sixteen employees from HanesBrands are preparing to don decorated bras when they take on The MoonWalk London. Walk the Walk funds are granted to projects that not only support research, but also a variety of projects that are supporting cancer patients now throughout the UK. Some of the brands part of HanesBrands are Maidenform, Playtex, Wonderbra and Berlei.
