Calzedonia launches reality show to find the brand’s new ambassador

Calzedonia are launching a brand new reality TV program with Fremantle Media in order to discover the new face of the brand. The 6-part “Calzedonia Ocean Girls” series will see a group of 10 women who, abandoning heels and suits, will be catapulted to the Canary Islands where they must compete in a series of physical water-themed challenges.

Having previously had a number of top models facing their campaigns, such as Gisele, Jessica Hart and more recently Sara Sampaio, Calzedonia are looking to find a new ambassador to be a real face to the brand. Founder and President of the Calzedonia Group, Dr Sandro Veronesi comments: “Calzedonia Ocean Girls is also an opportunity for women to recognise the stars, who are real women, with positive values in line with those for whom I founded my company. This is a project in which I deeply believe because it has character, passion and determination.”

Coached and judged by extreme sports experts, the show will be aired on SKY in Italy and will also be available to watch in the UK from 16th May on www.calzedoniaoceangirls.com
