Source Fashion Unveils ‘ReGen Futures’ for January 2027

by Underlines

http://www.source-fashion.comSource Fashion, Europe’s leading responsible sourcing show, has unveiled ReGen Futures, its new campaign direction for 2027, setting out an optimistic vision for an industry navigating profound change.

Returning to Excel London from 19–21 January 2027, Source Fashion will bring together global manufacturers, retailers, brands and industry leaders to explore how fashion can build a smarter, more resilient and responsible future.

Developed in response to extensive conversations across the fashion industry, ReGen Futures reflects a sector being reshaped by changing global trade dynamics, increasing commercial pressures, evolving regulation, emerging technology and the growing challenge of balancing profitability with responsible progress.

Source Fashion’s research has drawn on the experiences and perspectives of buyers, designers, sustainability professionals, technologists and product developers, business owners, academics, trade associations and policy advisers, revealing an industry facing significant change, but also one with an opportunity to rethink how it designs, sources, manufactures and does business.

ReGen Futures brings a fresh, optimistic perspective to the challenges facing fashion today. Inspired by retro-futurism, the campaign combines creativity with the technology and innovation to see how the industry can be reshaped for it’s next chapter.

It challenges the idea that progress must always mean more. Instead, Source Fashion will explore how better design, smarter sourcing and responsible innovation can create meaningful commercial and environmental progress.

Suzanne Ellingham, Event Director of Source Fashion, said:

Fashion is facing enormous change, but we don’t want the conversation about its future to be driven entirely by fear, or solving the problems we have right this second. Progress doesn’t have to mean producing more; it can mean making better choices – better materials, smarter systems, longer product lives and technology that works alongside us and empowers people, not replaces them. Source Fashion brings together the manufacturers, buyers, innovators and industry leaders with ambition to are thinking about the future in a different way.

It’s a difficult time to be running a business, but we also forget that it is an exciting time to really look at what’s possible, at a time when technology is moving forward, the future of fashion isn’t something we simply wait for. It’s something we make.”

Across three days in January, ReGen Futures will come to life through new show-floor experiences, practical education, provocative debate and conversations with some of the industry’s leading retailers, brands, manufacturers and practitioners.

The programme will explore the issues identified as most important to the Source Fashion community, from the changing global sourcing landscape and the commercial realities of responsible buying to circularity and regenerative materials, evolving regulation, emerging systems and AI, and how we create a culture with the talent we have today to take the industry forward.

Rather than presenting simple answers to complex challenges, Source Fashion will create a space for the industry to have open conversations about what is working, what isn’t and what practical change looks like.

The January programme will bring together some of fashion’s most experienced retail and sourcing voices. Speakers, show features and content will be announced in the lead-up to January.

ReGen Futures builds on Source Fashion’s founding purpose: helping global fashion buyers buy better. By connecting buyers with responsible manufacturers, practical insight and the industry expertise needed to make better commercial decisions, Source Fashion January 2027 will look beyond the challenges of today and focus on the opportunities shaping fashion’s future.
