To mark its Golden 50th Anniversary, Associated Independent Stores (AIS) brought its birthday to the INDX National Intimate Apparel Show on Monday 27 July 2026. Celebrating its Members and long-standing partnerships with key Supplier partners, the event brought the industry together to recognise the individuals, retail teams and iconic brands whose unwavering support has helped shape the sector.
Retail Excellence: Member Awards
Highlights of the day were the presentation of Industry Awards to exceptional individuals and teams within the Member businesses.
- Visual Merchandising Inspiration Award: Presented to Angela Bryanton and the team from Morley Stores, for creating visually captivating displays that serve as a benchmark for inspiration for independent retailers nationwide.

- The Community Impact Award: Awarded to Karen Nolan and the team from Smith Bradbeer, for their commitment to meeting every customer’s individual needs, community engagement, and making a genuine local difference.

Pamela Scott Named ‘Industry Legend’
A special ‘Industry Legend’ Award was presented to Pamela Scott of Underlines Magazine. Recognised for her decades of commitment to connecting brands, buyers, and industry professionals, Pamela was praised for her collaborative spirit, trusted guidance and invaluable support of the INDX National Intimate Apparel Shows.
During the show, AIS Members enjoyed a complimentary lunch and networking session. Celebrations concluded with an exclusive anniversary raffle prize draw for a luxury spa break. Congratulations go to Emma Wood from Barkers of Northallerton, who was drawn as the lucky winner.
