SwimShow Miami Gears up for its first-ever June dateline

From 1-3 June 2024, the highly anticipated SwimShow trade show will return to the Miami Beach Convention Centre for Miami Swim Week, staged one full month earlier than previous events. The Show promises an array of new brands and strategic partnerships that will engage exhibitors and visitors – offering all visitors a free ticket to the Summer Fashion Summit. The Summer Fashion Summit is an exclusive two-day conference bringing together top industry players in swimwear and resortwear, AI in fashion and sustainability solutions. It will consist of panel discussions and masterclasses on current trends in summer fashion, sustainability, marketing and communications led by key industry experts including Ron Grundland (CEO of Gottex), Tim Moore (EVP Business Development, Hildun), Carly Neale (Chief Revenue Officer of Seafolly) and Rebecca Saygi (Swimwear Editor of WGSN). For the third year SwimLab, the innovative collaboration between SwimShow and WGSN, presents an exceptional opportunity for emerging designers to show their brands on a global stage – the focus in on fostering talent and nurturing creativity. For this year’s event the brands  chosen by WGSN include Applod (Colombia), Ika Manu Miami-based), Masha Swim Croatia) and Saint Somebody (Australia). On the first day WGSN Swimwear Editor, Rebecca Saygi, will moderate a panel with the four new to the USA swim brands as part of the SwimLab: the brands selected as part of the incubator programme based on their focus on sustainability, social impact and launching a brand within the international swimwear community.

New brands to the SwimShow this year include All That She Loves, Aegean Cat, Grace Elliot, L’Agence, Left on Friday and Walker & Wade. Returning industry top-seling brands include Seafolly, Ralph Lauren, Gottex, La Blanca, Jets Australia to name just a few. Notably menswear and childrenswear labels are well represented with BLUEMINT, Pier St Barth, Sunset x Vine, Pepita & Me, Planet Seas, Critters and Molo.
