The revolutionary merino wool spinning technology, Nuyarn, has successfully obtained certification to the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) for the entirety of its textile manufacturing operations – from farm to fabric.
Nuyarn is renowned as the World’s First Performance wool and since having entered into the certification process in 2023, they are now vertically integrated with RWS (Responsible Wool Standard), which applies to all their performance wool products from apparel to footwear.
The certification is an intense process including a full audit of the facility, its processes and practices. RWS aims to ensure that animal welfare is protected, progressive methods of land management are practiced, and the social welfare of workers is foremost. It is one of many standards that drives Nuyarn to create more sustainable products for industry-leading performance apparel and footwear brands
