Cape Cove: an independent female owned premium lifestyle brand founded in April 2022 by friends – Jo Bennett, Suzannah Hatch and Clare Surplice – who created the brand after working over two decades for retail giants including John Lewis and the Estee Lauder Group.
The brand was established on their love of wild swimming, wellness and a shared passion to do good and it has quickly gained recognition within swimming communities and been featured by The Outdoor Swimming Society and by renowned wild swimmer and author, Anna Deacon. They are also a B-Corp pending business concern.
The ambition of the owners is to create a premium international business and brand that enables wild-hearted women who adore water and wellness, to flourish as a community, to gather and grow and to shop and swap more soulfully for a slower form of styles that connects with their lifestyle, beliefs and the world at large. The collection includes premium active swimwear made in Portugal with Italian fabrics and luxurious signature changing coats which are all made from certified recycled yarns and perfect organic towelling layering pieces (pre and post dip essentials!). The brand is the perfect solution for water loving women looking for sustainable, feminine and elevated pieces to suit their outdoor lifestyle.
With their retail background the founders are passionate about the role that independent retailers play in the industry and have just appointed Beach2Bar to grow their wholesale partnerships and distribution throughout the UK and Ireland. And having worked with Gillian and Tori in the past (as buyers) their agency was the obvious choice.
