A new Facebook group promoting UK independent bra fitters has been created by industry veterans Melanie Walbrin (Bellewren) and Clare Glenister (The Fitting Room). The group works as a directory of all the independent bra fitting shops/fitting rooms in the UK, making it easier for people to find their closest fitter, as well as educating consumers.
“We all see lots of posts in mums, family and women groups on Facebook searching for their nearest fitter, so we thought why not pull them all together in one page,” said Melanie. “We need to raise the profile for these places and get people away from confusing online calculators and discount sites that take away from the valuable skill of fitting and the high street,” she adds.
