In a show-stopping celebration of summer fashion, Splash Paris saw yet another successful year at the end of last month in Paris. Europe’s annual premium resortwear show attracted hundreds of visitors, eager to discover the new collections of established and up-and-coming designers from around the globe. Some of the brands showcasing included Jets, Solid + Striped, Pily Q, Heidi Klein, Lazul, Mara Hoffman, Linda Farrow Eyewear and Camilla.
Co-founders of the show, Claire Spencer-Churchill and Alex Lyles, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback from so many visitors and exhibitors. Buyers and press have commented on the strong curation of brands. This was always our highest priority and will remain so for future shows.”
In addition to attracting an impressive lineup of brands, the show is also famed for launching new labels and unearthing great talent. Made By Dawn, which exhibited for the first time in a European market, proved very popular amongst the 600 visitors that attended Splash Paris, Broochini launched its first collection at this year’s show. Among the hottest trends of the season was lingerie-inspired swimwear that featured mesh or lace panels and seam details that mirror body-form corsets; as well as active swimwear made with more technical fabrics or sustainable material such as recycled or bio-synthetic yarns.
