It all started in 1948 when Simone Pérèle opened her Parisian workshop and declared loud and clear that “to reveal the extent of women’s beauty, start by liberating their bodies!” The brand went on to offer customers comfortable underwear that didn’t show under clothing including the first invisible bra without underwires launched in 1968, and with the women’s liberation movement underway, products were immediately successful.
Now the third generation leads the company and Mathieu Grodner-Pérèle and Stéphanie Pérèle are committed to transform the Simone Pérèle Group. To celebrate this tradition of savoir-faire and creativity the Salon International de la Lingerie named Simone Pérèle the 2017 Designer of the Year with Paris Capitale de la Création and journalists were given an exclusive tour of Simone Pérèle Paris HQ ahead of the trade show in January 2017.
