The substantial redevelopment encompasses the 40,000 sq ft Northbrook Street Department Store alongside the 22,000 sq ft Home Store. The sleek new shopping experience boasts bright and airy interiors, providng a contemporary space catering for the 21st century shopper, whilst remaining sympathetic to the store’s long heritage in the area (dating back to 1921).

Mr Dreesmann, Chairman of Morleys Stores, commented: “We are delighted to announce the relaunch of our department store Camp Hopson … and we have set out to create a great customer experience providing exciting new products and brands in a light, fresh and contemporary environment with well-trained, knowledgeable and friendly staff”.

Morleys acquired Camp Hopson in November 2014 and the group includes branches in Wimbledon, Brixton, Islington, Enfield, Upminster, Ilford and Tooting.
