Pantherella, Leicester-based producer of Fine English Socks since 1937 has just announced a merger with the HJ Hall sock business (established 1882) to create a one stop shop for high end hosiery: PANTHERELLA International Group Ltd.
The seasonal designs and casual Scott Nichol Collection under Pantherella will continue aligned with the more technical styles under the HJ umbrella. The move will mean a strong Midland’s sock power house which will be strengthened with the arrival of Andrew Townsin as new Group Commercial Director. Townsin brings a wealth of experience having worked at AIGLE, Pepe Jeans and Levi Strauss & Co.
