The CALIDA Spring/Summer 2021 collection is all about a return to core values, combining natural, sustainable, high-quality materials with innovative design and functional properties. Under the slogan ‘True Heritage’, the CALIDA SS21 collection celebrates the brand’s 80th anniversary and takes us back to CALIDA’s roots, focusing on the core values of quality, sustainability and comfort. An increasing number of styles have also been awarded the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® certification.
The boundaries between daywear, sleepwear and loungewear are becoming increasingly blurred. CALIDA presents a variety of styles that are perfect as underlayers, for wearing around the house, as casual outerwear or even as beachwear, offering retailers additional options for cross-selling and presentation.
A central focus is once again CALIDA’s Cradle to Cradle Certified™ capsule collection 100% NATURE, which has been expanded to include innovative new designs. The collection underlines CALIDA’s role as a pioneer of sustainability in the industry, and the new range offers sporty yoga and loungewear with a stylish athleisure feel.
The collection is split into five delivery dates, with pastel shades such as delicate lilac, elegant silver, light blue and pink alongside nude tones such as almondine and coriander echoing throughout the entire collection. Prints range from graphic and ornamental to floral designs, polka dots, stripes and leopard prints all the way to Greek-inspired tile designs and detailed minimalist patterns featuring cherries and hot-air balloons.
