The 27th edition of Moda Lingerie & Swimwear opened on Sunday 15th February bringing together the intimate apparel industry’s new talent and established players such as Wacoal Europe, Panache, Triumph, Moontide, Simone Pérèle, Charnos and Maison Lejaby. The show offers buyers this season an increasing variety of product and brands as well as valuable information through its extensive seminar programme – don’t forget to attend the special Lingerie Panel on Tuesday 17th which will discuss social trends affecting lingerie and swimwear, hosted by Underlines Magazine Editor Pamela Scott.
Taking place three times a day, the Lingerie Catwalk features the most relevant trends for Autumn/Winter 2015, delivering a comprehensive look at the main themes to all visitors. Starting with ‘Every Breath You Take’, showcasing a selection of lingerie in sophisticated shades of burgundy, midnight blue, purple and greys from Panache, Lingadore, Dreamgirl Lingerie, Hanro and Lou.
‘Pretty Little Things’ introduced a more playful side to the season. Base colours were shades of pink, coral and aqua with lace overlays and florals adorning bras and knickers. Brands featured below are Lepel, Gossard, Tutti Rouge and Triumph.
Luxurious embroidery and opulent lingerie in cool hues were the focus of the third theme called ‘Etching’, which showcased new styles by Fantasie, Wacoal, Chantelle, Affinitas and Bestform Lingerie.
Soft muted colours embody ‘Hidden Beauty’, which as the name suggests offered a selection of lingerie with subtle lace inserts, embroidery and applications in white, green and pale pink. Brands featured below are Lorna Drew, Alterego, Nicola Jane, Cache Coeur, Conturelle by Felina, Vannina Vesperini, After Eden, Naturana and Secret D’Eva.
Wrapping up the Lingerie trends, ‘Nouveau’ brought out showstoppers in black satin with white and gold lace overlay, from Vanity Fair Lingerie, Rosy, Amoena, Silhouette, Maison Lejaby, Curvy Kate and Millesia Lingerie.
