Moda reveals its inspiring line-up of retail-focused seminars, taking place from 19-21 February at the NEC Birmingham, hosting expert speakers from across allied industries and assisting visitors with relevant advice on all aspects of the fashion and retail trade. New speakers this season include Adela Poplikova, Microsoft, who will deliver an essential insight as to why one size will never fit all when it comes to online marketing. Social media expert Introtweet also joins the line-up, while Dragons’ Den star Caner Veli will reveal all about how he established such a successful business concept. Returning favourites include social media expert and author of Think Digital First Warren Knight, PR guru Nathan Rous and independent retail body BIRA.
Newly-established buyers are reminded that Tuesday’s schedule has been tailored to new business with topics including the basics of social media for fashion retailers, understanding the maths required to make a retail business work and tips and advice on how independents can ensure that they thrive during those key first 12 months.
Moda visitors are also are invited to attended an inaugural Boob Brunch to raise awareness of Coppafeel‘s vital work in diagnosing and beating breast cancer sooner. Taking place just prior to the first lingerie catwalk on Sunday morning, attendees will enjoy canapés kindly provided by Moda’s host venue, the NEC, and the event will herald a nationwide campaign to host Boob Brunches all over the UK. As a thank you for attending the debut event, visitors will also have the chance to enter a competition to win a pair of VIP tickets to see Take That live at Birmingham’s Genting Arena.
Moda’s Boob Brunch will take place at 11am on Sunday, 19th February around the catwalk in Hall 20.
