She says: “I started 8-Lanes to fill the gap between highly technical competitive swimwear and fast fashion swimwear. Our niche is technical, ethical swimwear for the sporty and sensual. Real swimming is about real bodies and real life, and I believe everyone can enjoy the water”.
Designs are created in the UK with fabric sourced from Carvico, of Italy, renowned for their technical fabrics such as ‘Sydney Eco’ which 8-Lanes use, and is perfect for Deborah’s vision of lightweight material with additional benefits of chlorine resistance, UPF 50+, and OEKO-TEX certification, with manufacture in Portugal.
Designed to support, empower and endure the 8-back costume is designed with the distinctive ‘8’ on the back in timeless colour palettes – compression performance cuts that move with the body, sculpted and ergonomic fit and full chlorine, salt and fade resistant.
