In advance of the MaredaMare event (23-25 July) the Show Organisers (Underbeach) have revealed their exclusive trends which visitors can see during the Florence fair. Four trends have been identified and will be seen in a selection of garments curated in the Trends Areas in collaboration with Linea Intima (the Intima Group) – the swimsuit (one-piece) being the primary source of inspiration and direction.
SPORTY 90’s
Fashion and function with all the energy and exuberance of crossover garments that float between beachwear and surf wear (all revised with the latest technology and fabric innovations). Functional cuts highlight the silhouette with bold and pop colours for a look that evokes the sunny beaches of California.
RETRO REBOOT
Neo-classical harmony for a presentation of the classics of beachwear – at the centre of the theme is fit and comfort without neglecting the demands of contemporary desires. Research that starts with the 1950’s right through to the 1980’s in an inclusive but not stereotypical theme.
SPARKLY SUITS
Glowing and luminous costumes – light up with the sun and also perfect for social occasions post swim or pool. Lurex highlights the bases and the forms are elegant.
ARTWORK AFFAIR
Artistic graphics, never predictable, cut the surfaces and determine the movement. Swimsuits are the canvas to be framed with post-modernism and pop in both organic and both refined interpretations.
