Just in time for Euro 2016 there is a new style of swimwear that will allow men to look like their footballing heroes Ronaldo and Zlatan, who are often seen on the beach with their shorts rolled up to get an all over tan. Surprisingly this latest innovation was not developed in sunny Brazil, and instead comes  all the way from cool Sweden.

The new Meander swim shorts are designed by beach and swimwear designer Panos Papadopoulos, who has over the last 30 years challenged beach and swimwear fashion through his brand Panos Emporio. Without changing shorts, men can open up the sides of the Meander using a hidden zipper to ensure a tan without stripes on the thighs, solving a problem that Panos himself and many more have experienced for decades. A quick-drying material and the anatomically designed inner pant provide a secure and comfortable fit, as well as offering full mobility for beach and water sports.

That the product would be called Meander was a given for Panos, since the name is a historical pattern from the ancient Greece which stands for ‘an open mind and new ideas’. Through its unique design and innovative features, Meander is Panos’ tribute to his Greek heritage and to all men.
