British lingerie brand Kiss Me Deadly took it to Kickstarter to launch their new collection with a short Film Noir series. Featuring the label’s photographer and model Morgana, press assistant Maz, boss Catherine and even spokesmodel and former BNTM Jess Abidde, the videos present backers with a murder mystery competition.
Did the staff feel anxious about acting? Not so much, as founder Catherine Clavering says: “All the problems shown in the film (demands to drop limited editions in favour of beige basics, criticisms of our imagery for not being “nice” enough, and sleazy suggestions) are very real, so it wasn’t so much acting as just camping it up!”
The new collection features bold, vintage inspired styles in satins and lace, with plenty of cross over into outerwear. Kiss Me Deadly’s Kickstarter campaign closes tomorrow and so far has almost doubled its £10,000 goal, with over 23 hours left to back the project.
