Following its successful AW13 début catwalk show in the exclusive club Pacha last December, Pure Chemistry has proven to be one of the new lingerie brands to watch. Launched as a bespoke couture range in 2010 by B.A.(Hons) Graduate Dimple Rani Lal, the designs strike the perfect balance of playfulness, strength and sensuality for every style.
“My range is aimed at the affluent woman that appreciates quality and design over trends and remains progressive and inquisitively on the hunt for the best consumer goods available. For me, fashion is a way to express yourself and not just through outerwear. With lingerie, you can express your inner self however you want..” says Dimple.
The AW13 collection is inspired by the 1940’s-50’s Old Hollywood and the love of glamour of that era, with striking pieces in shimmering textures of sequins, striped furs and fabrics flown in from France and Italy, and was displayed in a trunk show at Paolita’s Boutique last March.
