New research by Playtex reveals that the lifestyles of 50+ women in the UK have changed significantly and dispels outdated myths about their everyday lives, loves and habits. The findings reveal that Britain’s 50+ women are more happy, vivacious and adventurous than ever before, revealing an ‘Ageless Generation’ of women. In fact, 49% state that they’re more content with life since turning 50.
The research smashes common misconceptions such as ‘sex is for the young’ with one in five over fifties having sex at least once a week – the same amount as women in their 20s. Other key findings include 93% breaking traditions and customs their mothers passed on to them and 50% claim to match their bra and briefs in order to feel sexy.
