WUKA Expands To 1,800 Tesco Stores, Bringing Period Pants to UK Convenience Stores

WUKA, the UK’s leading female-founded B Corp in sustainable period care, has expanded its partnership with Tesco, growing from fewer than 300 stores to more than 1,800 stores nationwide.

WUKA Stretch™ Express Fit

For the first time ever, reusable period pants are arriving in convenience stores across the UK. The expanded partnership between WUKA and Tesco now includes more than 1,300 Tesco Express stores, marking the first time period pants have been sold at scale in a convenience retail format.

To support the rollout, WUKA has launched a Tesco Express exclusive WUKA Stretch™ Express Fit, priced at £9.95 – the most affordable WUKA period underwear ever sold – helping to lower the barrier for consumers looking to switch from disposable products.

WUKA Founder and CEO Ruby Raut says:

Seeing period pants available in convenience stores is a huge moment for period care. People often need period products quickly and locally. Having reusable options available in neighbourhood stores means more people can choose a better, more sustainable solution.

This launch with Tesco Express is about visibility and accessibility. When period care sits alongside everyday essentials in local stores, it helps normalise periods and makes sustainable choices available to everyone.”

The expansion represents a significant shift in how period care is offered on the high street. For the first time, reusable period pants will be available not only in supermarkets but also in neighbourhood convenience stores across the country – bringing sustainable period care into everyday local shopping.
