The harmonious combination of shape and style characterises the Charmline Spring/Summer 2021 swimwear collection. The shapewear pioneer develops a modern look using prints and colours to deliver a collection including three shaping levels – light, medium and strong – based on optimal fabric construction. Prints and colour compositions place emphasis on the waist and décolleté, and the styles also feature details such as gatherings, uni-coloured trims, front side seams and drapes. Highlights from the SS21 collection include:
- NEO FOLIAGE – An abstract khaki leaf print in a fresh, white background with neon accents in pink and aqua. The soft knitted fabric made of microfibre enhances this radiance for a modern cool look and feel.
- PURE LINES – Delicate white piping add to the visual shaping effect in styles that focus on the waist and décolleté. In addition to black, the NOS design group is available in pink, aqua and navy and includes one swimsuit and one bikini.
- SHADOW PLAY – Chevron motifs in gold or white add contrast and interplay in a subtle way with the shaping elements. Uni plum trims on décolleté and leg neckline intensify the slimming effect of the styles, ranging from sporty swimmer and bandeau with removable straps to a one-piece with feminine heart neckline.
- FLOWER GLOW – A new look is created when maritime stripes join explosive floral prints and radiant, colourful colour accents give the maritime look a cheeky touch.
- PASTEL VINES – Modern watercolour tones are combined with an ocean inspired palette and flower bouquets imitating embroidery motifs for a 3D effect.
- TERRA LINKS – Celebrating the return of brown tones to the world of fashion, Terra Links blends warm ivory and earthy red for a soft, harmonious colour palette.
- WILD TRACE – A modern update on the animal print with a striped grid, sporty notes and using rich blue as an accent colour.
- NOSTALGIC GREENS – The placed print is a mix of modern and nostalgic shades of green, joined by delicate apricot motifs and spring accents.
- OCEAN BASICS – A hand-drawn, irregular stripe – used as a placement in the degrade pattern or positioned flat in the model as an alternating stripe – adds sophistication and diversity to the design groups.
- NATURE DIP – The tropical flora meets the underwater world. A flirt with Caribbean symbols and watercolour shades of turquoise, green and powdery rosé which flatter the skin tone.
- GEO SPACE – Uncompromising graphics, high-contrast aesthetics are sporty lines are key to create modern colour-blocking. Trapezoidal cargo pockets and utility structures inspired the layout and the subtle colour scheme is characterised by the down-to-earth play of khaki and black.
- SWEET TANGLE – The lively, filigree lines appear as if spontaneously drawn by hand and are placed on the print in a woven look. The transparent, discreet wet-look coating of the fabric also gives the pieces a new soft glow.
- DEEP TENSION – Using a matt black fabric consisting of microfibre and 50 percent elastane, the range offers an extraordinary strong shaping effect while being smooth as velvet.
