Size inclusive and body positive tights brand, Snag, unveils a new collection of fishnet tights, another step forward in the brand’s ongoing mission to make tights that fit all women. Dubbed ‘Fishies’, the collection is available in four delectable colours – Mojito, Pink Lady, Sex on The Beach and Blue Lagoon.
Fishies’ are created with not only style, but also comfort in mind. They are designed with a cotton gusset and are super stretchy to ensure maximum comfort for all body types. Since Snag’s ‘Fishies’ are super stretchy, they are different to other tights and sold in just two sizes, Fabulous (A-D) and Stunning (E-G), and still ensure a comfortable fit for all.
Finding tights that fit can be a real struggle, particularly for people who wear size 18+, petite, tall and those with a disability. This is because tights traditionally are all the same width, the only difference between the sizes being the length of the legs. Snag believes everyone deserves to be able to wear tights that fit them properly, regardless of their size, height, shape or disability, and offers tights which vary in height, width and body shape as well as ranging from sizes 4 to 28+.
Snag’s CEO Brie Read, founded the brand in March 2018, after she was inspired by her own daily struggles to find hosiery that really fits. “At Snag, we believe that it is important to try to ensure everyone feels included, especially within the fashion industry,” she says. “Our Fishies are designed for anyone who wants to wear them, and we’ve worked hard to make sure they are comfortable as well as stylish for all. Following the success of our black Fishies, we decided to expand the range to include some exciting new colours to offer our customers more choice and we can’t wait to see how our customers will style them!”
Since its launch in March 2018, Snag has gone from strength to strength. In its first full financial year Snag has reported a turnover of £4.3 million and has sold over 1,000,000 pairs of tights to date.
