Vevie, founded by Stylist and Modelist Caroline Greenslade, who has worked over the last 20 years in the lingerie sector with brands such as Agent Provocateur and Marks & Spencer, presents their new Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Launched with the aim of offering women stylish, chic swimwear where the tailoring & cut sits equal to the aesthetic and fashion style, Vevie combines cut and fit principles with vintage prints and bold details to create a new fresh look for the swimwear market.
For SS14 Vevie has developed its range of one–piece costumes to include higher leg cuts and lower necklines to take the customer from spa to beach. Vevie also introduces its first range of bikinis, with Underwire, Bandeau and Bra top styles, sold as separates in cup sizes B-E with low cut hipster and high waist briefs. Sitting alongside the swimwear offer is a capsule collection of beach cover-ups; easy to wear pieces for beach, lunch and shopping that coordinate back with the main swimwear collection.
Vevie’s SS14 colour palette continues with the fresh theme, where mid tone sherbet pinks, corals and greens are mixed back with white, black, grey and navy to create strength and standout. Key for the season is the vintage large-scale floral that is combined with colour block pieces. Also continuing is Vevie’s signature stripe and polka collections bringing a cute freshness to this classic swim look.
