Make it British Live! is making its long-awaited return on 12th & 13th January 2027 in an exciting new collaboration with THE LONDON TEXTILE FAIR.
MiB Live! will bring together UK manufacturers of garments, knitwear, swimwear and lingerie, and home textiles, fabric printers, sample makers, pattern cutters and accessory makers, alongside the 300 international textile, accessory, garment, print design and vintage archives already exhibiting at TLTF. This unique collaboration creates a true one-stop shop for British manufacturing—giving brands and buyers everything they need to go from raw fabric to finished product in a single visit.
The Make it British Live! area brings together manufacturers and suppliers from across the British Isles. Exhibitors include: Garment manufacturers producing womenswear, menswear and childrenswear, knitwear manufacturers, swimwear and lingerie manufacturers, home textile manufacturers, fabric printers, sample makers, pattern cutters and accessory manufacturers.
The event builds on the success of Make it British Live! the trade show which ran from 2014 to 2020 and established itself as the go-to sourcing event for British manufacturing. At its peak the show attracted over 5,000 visitors and more than 200 exhibitors, drawing buyers and sourcing directors from major retailers alongside independent designers and emerging brands. Its return as a dedicated hall within The London Textile Fair gives it a permanent and fitting home at the heart of the UK textile industry.
Since the Make it British Live! event shut its doors in 2020 there has been no single event where designers and buyers could go to find all the suppliers they need to get their products made in the UK. When the London Textile Fair invited me to collaborate with them on a dedicated UK manufacturer space within their event, it felt like the perfect partnership.”
