Sheen Uncovered of East Sheen and its owner, Jackie Upton, are up for the ‘High Street Hero’ Award in this year’s Small Business Britain Awards.
Nearly 90 small firms have been selected as finalists for this year’s Small Awards, which celebrate the nation’s outstanding small business community, their successes and resilience. From farms, furniture shops and jewellers to digital consultants, food and drink outlets and specialist support networks for under-represented demographics, independent businesses from across the country are being spotlighted for their incredible achievements and community contributions.
The annual Small Awards – which this year celebrate a decade of rewarding the nation’s best small companies – are organised by Small Business Britain, which champions, inspires, and accelerates small businesses in the UK. 2026 was a record breaking year, with thousands of entries across eleven different categories.

There are 11 categories in all – ‘At Your Service’, ‘Bricks and Clicks’, ‘Digital Star’, ‘Heart of Gold’, ‘High Street Hero’, ‘Legacy’, ‘Mission Impossible’, ‘Net Hero’, ‘New Kid on the Block’, ‘Sole to Sole’ and ‘Supply Chain Champion’. These Awards were launched in 2017 and are run by Small Business Britain, the UK’s leading champion of small businesses, supporting all 5.5 million small businesses in the UK – no matter their location, their sector, or their ambition level.
