Nudea’s Support for Menopause Awareness Month

by Underlines

October 2023 – In support of Menopause Awareness Month, Nudea is encouraging women to remember to check their bra size before, during and after this time of life to ensure they can be as comfortable as possible as their bodies go through a variety of symptoms including breast changes. In addition, the B Corp Certified underwear brand is this month supporting Wellbeing of Women via Work For Good by raising funds to help the charity work towards its goal to improve women’s health throughout their lives from birth to menopause and beyond

During the month of October, 10% of sales of all products on Nudea.com will be donated to Wellbeing of Women via Work For Good. Wellbeing of Women is the only UK charity dedicated to funding research, education and advocacy across all of women’s reproductive and gynaecological health, including menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, gynaecological cancers, menopause and incontinence. It raises money to invest in medical research and the development of specialist doctors and nurses working in these fields.

In addition, Nudea will be hosting a conversation with medical research scientist and nutritionist, Fede Amati, about nutrition and the menopause and sharing top tips and advice on getting the best nutrition during this period of change.

Priya Downes, Nudea’s CEO and Founder, comments:

“We’re extremely proud to support Wellbeing of Women this October. In everything we do, we aim to be fully inclusive and help all our customers be at their best with their wellbeing at the forefront. This is why highlighting Menopause Awareness Month is so important to help spread the word around this time of life and how it can affect breasts. Breast tenderness, shifts in both size and shape are among the many symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. During all stages of the menopause, we know how important it is for women to feel supported not only emotionally but physically and wearing the right bra during this time can really make a difference.”
