The UKFT in Paris with 120+ brands

Among the 120+ British brands showing at this season’s Paris Fashion Week which starts on 26th September, the UK Fashion & Textile Assocation (UKFT) which organises the PFW group with support from the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), is ready to welcome a post-Covid record of British swimwear, beachwear, resortwear and cruisewear designers. These are scattered across a number of trade shows and showrooms.

After a highly successful June edition, UK swimwear trade show Splash! Paris will be returning to Paris between 28th and 30th September in its original tented site alongside the Seine at Pont Alexandre III, opposite the Grand Palais. UK exhibitors at Splash!Paris will include vibrant prints and from Alexandra Miro, responsible and thoughtful resortwear in linen from Arkitaip, contemporary sustainable shapes from Away that Day, stylish European-made swim and resortwear from Casa Raki, playful travel hats from Le Hat, detailed smocked dresses from Pink City Prints, luxury embroidered cotton and silk tops and dresses from Juliet Dunn, designer swimwear adored by celebrities from Melissa Odabash, and must-have eyewear jewellery and chains from Talis Charms.

Splash’s sister organisation Claret Showroom on Rue du Mail (28th September to 4th October) boasts swim and resortwear with prints and plains from Oceanus and versatile outerwear including vegan leather from Never Fully Dressed. Meanwhile Paolita will be showing her latest beach and resort collection in striking print with Daniele Ghiselli Milan Showroom as part of the CSM Milan Showroom Collective at the Maison Dassault, a stone’s throw from Splash.

Across town, Evarae is showing conscious luxury resortwear, swim and ready to wear at the much sought-after Polly King showroom showroom on Rue de Turenne near République (28th September to 4th October). Kayll is showing their latest sustainable swim and kimono range at Black PR nearby in the Marais.

There are dozens of high quality British accessory and jewellery collections to wow resort buyers at Première Classe (29th September to 2nd October) including traditional Moroccan shoes for the beach and city from EnShalla and jewellery from Métier by Tomfoolery. Meanwhile, UK online and offline jewellery showroom Nouvelle Box (28th September to 3rd October) includes Loquet London. Close by at Emma Jones Consultancy Showroom Soler is showing its UK-made lightweight dresses for resort and cruise (29th September to 4th October). At Rainbowwave (29th September to 3rd October) buyers can see the latest jewellery collections from designers including Pippa Small in its new location in the 7th arrondissement and there is also something for the man on the beach at Sunray Sportswear with Japanese manufactured t-shirts and clothing.

Across many of the other Paris Fashion Week trade shows and showrooms are other collections of interest to swim and resort buyers. Sula Clothing from Brighton Beach will be at Tranoi (28th September to 1st October). On The Island is showing their resort and swim collection at Arddun Agency (29th September to 3rd October). De La Vali are showing their collection for festival, Boho and Ibiza at Bare Agency (29th September to 4th October).
