Fantasie Swim goes further to help the environment

by Underlines

Recognising the importance to be more environmentally responsible, Fantasie has introduced new swimwear ranges for SS20 which have been created from recycled materials.

The new Manila swim range boasts a soft aquatic snake print and features Q-NOVA®, an innovative yarn which has been created using up to 99% of waste materials from the textile industry. Compared to the conventional process for producing yarn, Q-NOVA® produces 80% less CO2 and uses 90% less water. The stunning Manila range is available in a variety of swimwear styles including an UW gathered full cup bikini top, UW twist bandeau, UW deep plunge suit, mid rise adjustable leg brief, mid rise wrap side brief and deep gathered brief.

The new Bonito swim collection features an inky animal print with a cream base, pink highlights and violet tones. This collection features a fibre made by SEAQUAL® which is created from upcycled marine plastic from the ocean. SEAQUAL® works with a number of organisations including fishermen to repurpose marine plastic sitting on the ocean floor as well as the surface, and for every kilogram of SEAQUAL® fibre, one kilogram of plastic is removed from the sea. The Bonito collection is available in an UW plunge bikini top, UW deep V neck suit, classic fold brief and classic twist brief.
