British lingerie and sleepwear brand Gilda & Pearl is set to launch into renowned American department store Barneys and online at Farfetch as part of the brand’s international growth strategy. Gilda & Pearl have already seen significant growth over the past two years launching into Harrods and other leading boutiques around the world, including a planned launch at the new La Villa 1889 luxury concept store in Dubai this coming January.
Gilda & Pearl founder and designer Diane Houston says: “We’re very excited to be launching with both Barneys and Farfetch. Our aim is to reach more customers around the world by working with the best department stores and retailers who reflect our core values of luxury and high quality craftsmanship, and we believe Barneys and Farfetch are perfectly matched to Gilda & Pearl.”
For Spring/Summer 2017, Gilda & Pearl has partnered with photography artist Harriet Clare to create a capsule collection using prints from Clare’s ‘Blumen’ series. The luxury loungewear collection includes a kaftan, short, camisole, long and short slips, featuring distorted shots of colourful blooms printed in silk satin. The Harriet Clare collection is available from the 1st November and expands Gilda & Pearl’s seasonal Signature range.
