New brand Figgahugga is on a mission to change the world’s perception of shapewear, presenting the first range of bright, fun slimming underdresses aimed at young women who want to look and feel instantly slimmer without having to shed pounds.
Founders Amanda and Charlie Wrench aim to leave unattractive and undesirable shapewear designs in the shade, offering a solution to young women who are not catered to by the current shapewear market. They explain: “Through our research, it was apparent that smaller sized and younger women were keen to smooth out their lumps and bumps and achieve their best silhouette, but in most cases they wouldn’t be seen dead in most of the existing shapewear on the market, which is predominantly functional – so we designed a range for them, a range that wasn’t afraid to be seen.”
Presenting a double-layered design made from breathable nylon and lycra to deliver extra firm hold, the Figgahugga flattens the tummy, smoothes the hips and bottom, and erases any trace of VPL. Set to be a revolutionary new concept in shapewear, Figgahugga is the very first British shapewear brand, with the entire design and manufacturing process taking place solely in the UK.
