by Underlines

SKIMS has appointed Robin Gendron as President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Gendron was formerly President of EMEA at Michael Kors and brings with him over 15 years of experience across wholesale, retail, merchandising and operations.

The news follows on from the news in May 2025 of the opening of the brand’s first UK store.

Scheduled to open in Summer 2026 in the old Ted Baker site on Regent Street this marks a major move for the nearly £3 billion business which will be an immersive retail experience to one of London’s best known shopping streets.

Complementing this retail push, SKIMS is launching its first regional warehouse and localising SKIMS.com for EMEA consumers,

Jens Grede, Co-Founder and CEO of SKIMS, said: “Robin brings extensive international experience and strategic insight that align perfectly with SKIMS’ ambitions in EMEA. His leadership will be instrumental in navigating complex markets and driving expansion across all channels.”

Gendron added: “It is an honour to join SKIMS at this pivotal stage of its global development. I am excited to contribute to the brand’s mission of innovation and inclusivity, and lead efforts to expand SKIMS’ presence across diverse EMEA markets. Together, we will deliver products and experiences that resonate with customers and drive meaningful growth.”
