Mari Thomas-Welland started MAAREE in 2018. A professional sports bra tester in lab conditions, working for the biggest brands in the world, she could not find the perfect sports bra to support her 34F boobs while playing Hockey.
So she decided to create her own. After visiting a charity shop to buy a belt, shaping it and attaching it to her existing sports bra, Mari knew she was onto something special. She designed the only sports bras with Overband® Technology, and MAAREE was born.
MAAREE now has 5 sports bras in its collection including Encapsulation, Hybrid and Compression styles, alongside matching apparel. The brand has won 10X Best in Test awards with Women’s Running Magazine, and scored 100/100 for support in the Women’s Health Lab test.

MAAREE’s ambassadors include England Rose Eleanor Cardwell and Lioness Millie Bright, both have experienced pain through their sports bras in the past, which MAAREE sports bras have solved through fit and support.
