The forthcoming edition of Texworld (6-8 February 2023) held at the Paris-Le-Bourget exhibition centre welcome 750 exhibitors next month with a huge return of Chinese companies (430) with their reopening to the world. Since the COVID crisis countries such as Bangladesh, India and Turkey have seen their share of EU clothing imports increase significantly in volume between 2021-2022 but the return of the Chinese will undoubtedly change that situation in 2023. Turkey is represented with 122 companies, Korea (43) and India (45) with Thailand and Indonesia well represented.

Apparel Sourcing Paris which concentrates on finished products will host 270 companies (210 of those are Chinese and supported by the CCPIT TEX will be practically equivalent to pre-crisis levels. The African continent will also be represented by companies from Ethiopia and for the first time, Ghana, with the support of the International Trade Centre and the German Cooperation Association.

As usual there will be a series of round table discussions and conferences through the three days. February 2023 also sees the debut of The Red Thread: which will guide buyers from the entrance of the Show to the Trends Forum and the Elite Forum via the Denim Village and the Denim Trends Forum.
