Ireland’s longest established department store (1839), Burgess of Athlone, is involved with a fantastic initiative with their local ‘Buccaneers’ Rugby Club (Athlone). They have 150 female players and they believe in giving them the best aids in their game – currently they are giving a free professionally fitted sports bra to every player to both be supportive & protective to their breasts and bodies as well as an aid to performance enhancement (one coach told a story of a player who was holding her bra strap with one hand while trying to play rugby with the other!).
