On International Women’s Day, Victoria’s Secret hosted a special panel discussion at the Future Dreams house in London today. Under the theme ‘This is My Body’ as well as showing new collections, there was a stimulating panel discussion of breast cancers (of all types), treatment and initiatives. Future Dreams is the only dedicated breast cancer support centre in the UK which houses amongst other support services, The Bra Lounge, where women at all stages of breast cancer surgery can be fitted by expert fitter, Monica Harrington and sponsored by Victoria’s Secret. Victoria’s Secret currently donate £100,000K annually to the charity via sales of bras and other fundraising initiatives.

Speakers included Deborah Joseph (Glamour UK Editor in Chief), Jo Franks (Consultant Breast & Oncoplastic Surgeon), Charlie Morgan (Founder of the BRCA Project) and Leeanne Adu (Founder of Leave with Lava) hosted by Sarah Jane Crawford (TV & radio presenter and founder of Clean Curls). Two of the panel shared their experiences of breast cancer and their gratitude to the Future Dreams Charity and House for providing continuous support.

Well attended event for International Women’s Day
